Other than stay away from drugs, there is no lesson. DMX is just more self destructive than the average functioning junkie. That's why you don't do it in the first place--you don't know which side of the bed you'll wake up on. We should be grateful he's even alive at this point rather than us playing his music and reminiscing on his death day.
