At the time DMX had tons of cases. During the recording of "And Then There Was X" & "Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha" both Kurupt & X stayed out in Miami. Kurupt been rolling with the 60's forever. You know, "holding him down"/bodyguard/extortion - the typical...

So a shooting took place, and one of the bodyguards/Rollin 60's member actually died. I may be wrong but i think it was
the time Big U's (Rollin 60's OG) big brother died.

After the diss the rumors were saying that it was Ruff Ryders affiliates, becuz of Kurupt's diss.

X briefly mentioned the diss, the shooting of the bodyguard & the stabbing case he got during the Hard Knock Life tour, on his DVD for "And Then There Was X" (on Youtube). He didnt think too much of the diss & just thought it was wack & of course he didnt say he was guilty of anything or shyt like dat.
