Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
What they don't know is!
The bullshyt, the drama (uhh), the guns, the armour (what?)
The city, the farmer, the babies, the mama (what?!)
The projects, the drugs (uhh!), the children, the thugs
(uhh!) The tears, the hugs, the love, the slugs (c'mon!)
The funerals, the wakes, the churches, the coffins (uhh!)
The heartbroken mothers, it happens, too often (why?!)
The problems, the things, we use, to solve 'em (what?!)
Yonkers, the Bronx (uhh!), Brooklyn, Harlem (c'mon!)
The hurt, the pain, the dirt, the rain (uhh!)
The jerk, the fame, the work, the game (uhh!)
The friends, the foes, the Benz, the hoes (what?!)
The studios, the shows, comes, and it goes (c'mon!)
The jealousy, the envy, the phony, the friendly (uh-huh!)
The one that gave 'em the slugs, the one that put 'em in me
(whoo!) The snakes, the grass, too long, to see (uhh, uhh!)
The lawnmower, sittin, right next, to the tree (c'mon!)

What we seeing is!
The streets, the cops, the system, harrassment (uh-huh)
The options, get shot, go to jail, or getcha ass kicked
(aight) The lawyers, the part, they are, of the puzzle (uh-huh)
The release, the warning, "Try not, to get in trouble" (damn!)
The snitches, the odds (uhh), probation, parole (what?!)
The new charge, the bail, the warrant, the hole (damn!)
The cell, the bus, the ride, up North (uh-huh)
The greens, the boots, the yard, these hearts (uhh!)
The fightin, the stabbin, the pullin, the grabbin (what?!)
The riot squad with the captain, nobody knows what happened
(what?!) The two years in a box, revenge, the plots (uhh!)
The twenty-three hours that's locked, the one hour that's not
(uhh!) The silence, the dark, the mind, so fragile (aight!)
The wish, that the streets, would have took you, when they had you
(damn) The days, the months, the years, dispair
One night on my knees, here it comes, the prayer

This here is all about!
My wife, my kids (uh-huh), the life that I live (uh-huh)
Through the night, I was his (uh-huh), it was right, but I did
(uh-huh) My ups, and downs (uhh), my slips, my falls (uhh)
My trials and tribulations (uhh), my heart, my balls (uhh)
My mother, my father, I love 'em, I hate 'em (uhh!)
Wish God, I didn't have 'em, but I'm glad that he made 'em
(uhh!) The roaches, the rats, the strays, the cats (what, what?!)
The guns, knives and bats, everytime we scrap
The hustlin, the dealin, the robbin, the stealin (uhh!)
The shyt, hit the ceilin, little boy, with no feelin's
(damn) The frustration, rage, trapped inside a cage
Got beatin's 'til the age, I carried a twelve gauge
(aight!) Somebody stop me (please!), somebody come and get me
(what?!) Little did I know, that the Lord was ridin with me
The dark, the light (uhh), my heart (uhh), the fight (uhh)
The wrong (uhh!), the right (uhh!), it's gone (uhh!), aight?

this nikka is literally just saying words :heh:...but we get the concept and the meaning...and its such a powerful message :banderas:

God's bathroom floor and girl with the tattoo hands, as the majors tried to act like the underground and online rap acts did not exist to phase it out.
So, the majors could go emo and try to capitalize on slug mainly white demographic.
Including the online rap draw as a whole.

The whole rap game is basically white boi music now.
They studied especially rocafella cause they invested in the old :hamster: site and community on the low.
While trying to act like even I did not exist and at the same time.
Yet you had defjam artist and produces trying to make a name and get props by publically calling me out because I had some bytch mae impersonator starting bullshyt on peoples feeds and sites.
nikkaz is calling my phone with praise for ju.
Yet not trying to put him or slug on.
All cause they would be exposed and eclipsed if they featured with either of them.

Kanye is from a good black single mother home slug.
Jayz is drug dealer slug.
The whole rap game is what if slug was a gangsta on auto tune with no voice.

The whole rap game has no vocal tonality.
all because the industry is tryin to copy slug's draw.
The whole rap world is wannabe white mixed emo rapper, slug.

Sp, When nikkaz try to tell you.
some rapper is hood and got weak ass vocals ans belly ache'n about a bytch.
Wit some ol Depeche mode ass triphop beat.
You can just know he a wannabe white rapper and all these nikkaz in general are wannabe white rappers.

It is the greatest coup of any genre ever.
Get a black artist to be a white artist and not know it.
Even the beats are white boy beats with 808's to cover it up.

Whether they know it or not.
They have worked this slight of hand since overcast dropped.

This thread is indicative of that too.

As who we be is literally a commercial rapper take on scapegoat.

The same way most jayz stories.
that are deep are a take on gods bathroom floor and the girl with the tattooed hands.

Kanye is what if slug was jiggy, instead of racially ambigious and emo.
Ever since the rhymesayers distribution deal all of rap from pr to the artist. Are all a play on what if slug was and fill in the blank.

Basically go look at a rapper released after the rhyme Sayers distribution deal. All the rappers are what if comic books of slug, with different fill in the blanks. It is like marvel making street level characters all patterned after spidey.

All rappers who dropped after the rhyme Sayers deal.
are all signed because they emulate slug unknowingly or knowingly.

You could make a list of the all the rappers with visible pr.
Then basically see the connection and fill in the blank, it is so obvious.

First song to bite slug's scapegoat and pay attention to the bubbling draw of hiphopinfinity.com and emo.
that eventually would take over the rap game after ye vs fiddy.

Art Barr

timeless song thats suitable for any era

nicely done concept how he starts mentioning typical things we blame on that we can easily fix, but then later it progresses deeper into mentioning serious problems where there is not much we can do about it. Leaving the listener wondering maybe its really "them but not me"

I dont know about like literally every new mainstream rapper being a copycat of one same artist, but most of music genres are like that. They pick someone to model their career and just bite their style blatantly. Easy money.

For example all those nu metal "trying to rap over metal", industrial metal groups that started popping back in the late 80s, 90s or 00s were straight up copycats of Ministry and KMFDM.

copycats like RATM, NIN, limp bizkit, marilyn manson, rammstein especially, just to name a few.
