This might be lowkey nitpicking, but I was a little uneasy when DNA started callin Chess a monkey/gorilla/ape.

It seemed like the crowd was a bit uncomfortable with those lines too

i feel like they slept heavy on chess 2nd cause he threw up in the 1st. I think chess got this 2-1 easy would be 3-0 without the throwup and this doesnt prove the crowd didnt gas the rookies because chess threw up thats what killed his momentum tillt he 3rd plus they didnt even really boo him like that, they cheered and was rooting for him to come back

Was DNA great this battle? Was he better in this battle than he was vs ILL Will or vs Tay Roc?

he was a million times better vs roc. its the big crowds theyre easily swayed. They decided pre battle DNA wasnt beating roc. DNA actually wrote un predictable bars for once in maybe 3 years and because the crowd hated he went back to this basic trash like before cause he figured the crowd was loving that basic shyt vs chilla., prez and ill will but hated the one time i wrote bars. These big crowds fukk shyt up. if they fukked with dna that battle at least this nikka wouldve wrote better bars, we gotta see him on every card anyway cause he knows smacks sponser

Right. I don't know what these TBZ nikkas is on talking bout they lost for watching this. That young boy was spazzing all three rounds. Chess got a bright future ahead of him.

I like the dude, but I feel like he needs to slow down or something. I'm not sure what it is, but he'll follow up some fire shyt with some aight...and everyone has filler but his annoys me for some reason...maybe it was because the crowd was making him run it back. And I be like :damedash:.

Thats EXACTLY what happened. Both him and steams said he was OD drinking right before the battle. Chess still has a 17 yr old liver.

chess won the third, but he got comfortable and in the zone too late. he definitely lost the first, and to me he lost the second too. Its almost like chess rapped his first and second and then his big brother tried to catch him up in the third

First watch has me a little torn.

I actually didn't think what Chess spit in his first was bad. In fact, it was DNA's first that was totally awful. A lot of dudes saying you have to auto give DNA round 1, but I'm not so sure about that. What he spit was bad enough that Chess partial round did enough... maybe

Second round seemed like Chess lost some performance early on. The bars were ok (I need to rewatch this round), but they didn't seem to land. DNA's second I actually thought he had some shyt. I'm not a DNA fan really, but for anyone rewatching, I really suggest listening to the bars like you would a more complex rapper. He has some ok bars in there (I might post em next watch). Right now I'm giving second to DNA only because it was somehow more memorable.

Third is probably Chess. DNA's angle was ok but he lost so much steam and ended horribly.
