Ran across this video from James Comey Congressional Testimony back in January.

:jbhmm: Less than 2 mins.

The former Director of Los Federales, who said it is normal protocol for Feds to do computer forensics analysis by specialists in-house, which he said is the best evidence. Seems like something as crucial as a potential foreign country hacking into a major political parties' servers, would have more weight on it to procure that hardware??

You make multiple requests to DNC, but are denied the ability to do it inhouse, and told to talk to Crowdstrike, the private company handling the servers instead, which provides you copies??

If this Russia story is so crucial, sounds like there would be more encouragement to have access to those servers.

You as the head Federale in Charge don't know why you were denied access to servers regarding the biggest story in the world more or less??

Just makes me :lupe:

Everyone has skeletons in their closet.

True. But, when was last time Federales cared about skeletons in closets? If Russia potential hacking is leading to multiple major policy maneuvers: Potential impeachment, sanctions against Russia, personnel being told to leave country, increased war posturing, etc. Seems like you would want access to the source to make the case, and not what a private company decides to give you for a situation with these many implications.

Didn't they just go after Manafort with a warrant, when they felt he hadn't turned over enough information. Yet, he is nowhere associated with the actual DNC server, which never got a warrant . Interesting.

Are you retarded?

The DNC is not a US Government agency or entity.

There is no established obligation for them to hand over the server(s) at the FBI's request.

They had every right to have a bi-parisan private company review the server for review

Warrants supersede all that, as the Manafort warrant is showing? Manafort is a private citizen, he has no obligation to turn over his documents. The warrant says otherwise. The DNC, same thing. If they wanted the servers, to investigate a percieved action by a foreign power of this magnitude, I'm sure a judge would have agreed.

I mean we talking potential impeachment. That's somewhat major.

How do you accuse a Prez and not have verifiable evidence of something concrete.
Based on what you just said, American people have no reason to put their full faith into the motives of this major story without a fully vetted investigation, and the servers would seem to be the main point for federale forensic analysis.

Seems common sense to me.

Was the DNC given a warrant?

..and Manafort's home was raided because he was directly tied to an ongoing investigation.

The DNC server request by the FIB was a probe and not full blown investigation
