Was the DNC given a warrant?

..and Manafort's home was raided because he was directly tied to an ongoing investigation.

The DNC server request by the FIB was a probe and not full blown investigation

The answer is no.
The followup response is that in the OP video, James Comey himself says it is normal protocol for federales to get the hardware, which makes for better evidence.

You can watch the 2 minute video and see how rational or irrational his responses were.

Yet, an event of this magnitude didn't require the Federales getting a hold of those servers, when he said based on protocols it makes the best evidence to have the physical evidence??

So you think it is ok for the federales to not have the the most important piece of evidence examined by in-house experts, with all the implications it has?? A probe?? That has led to potential impeachment, sanctions against Russia and European companies they do businness with, war posturing, and removal of personnel. You saying this "probe" with this level of implications, shouldn't have some strong evidence to back up the magnitude of those events???

Might want to actually read the article.
Read beyond the first 2 paragraphs.

TYT can report that at the same time CrowdStrike was working on behalf of the DNC, the company was also under contract with the FBI for unspecified technical services.

The most prominent “private, non-partisan security firm” is CrowdStrike, and despite Kelly’s use of the term “non-partisan” to describe the firm, its fiduciary relationship with the DNC suggests otherwise. As the journalist Yasha Levine wrote in The Baffler,

Far from establishing an airtight case for Russian espionage, CrowdStrike made a point of telling its DNC clients what it already knew they wanted to hear: after a cursory probe, it pronounced the Russians the culprits. Mainstream press outlets, primed for any faint whiff of great-power scandal and poorly versed in online threat detection, likewise treated the CrowdStrike report as all but incontrovertible.
In April 2016, two months before the June report was issued, former President Barack Obama appointed Steven Chabinsky, “general counsel and Chief Risk officer” for CrowdStrike, to a presidential “Commission for Enhancing Cybersecurity,” further demonstrating CrowdStrike’s intermingling with powerful Democratic Party factions.

Neither the FBI nor CrowdStrike responded to requests for comment on the nature of the services provided. As of yet, the only entity known to receive primary access to the DNC servers is CrowdStrike. At a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing in January, Comey testified that the FBI had been denied access to the servers by the DNC after repeated requests. And unnamed FBI officials told reporters, “The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated.”

Comey’s long-awaited Congressional testimony on Thursday may provide additional insight into the FBI’s reliance on the firm.

Effectively, information that is now central to massively consequential geopolitical disputes has been “privatized“ and held exclusively by a profit-seeking entity. CrowdStrike’s findings continue to be repeated by journalists and politicians with unflinching certainty — despite the fact that it was forced to retract a central element of another report involving related malware attribution, raising doubts about the reliability of its DNC conclusions. As Jeffrey Carr, a security researcher who has been critical of CrowdStrike’s methods, told me: “The foundation of placing the blame on Russia was false.”

Power to determine world events is increasingly being concentrated in the hands of a tiny group of self-proclaimed “experts” who aren’t accountable to the public, but to clients and investors. CrowdStrike, evidently benefitting from the surge in PR, announced last monththat it had been valued at one billion dollars

If crowdstrike is good enough to be a government contractor there should be little concern over the quality of their work. Since that is the entire premise of this shyt posting you're doing.

Can we just get this guy out of here before he runs amok with this nonsense? The DAY after an undeniable racially charged killing, a guy with some questionable signs, starts going in about the DNC, and emails, I mean it would be satire, if it weren't so morally bankrupt and dangerous, because people follow this kind of trash.

I have seen impressionable, dumb posters on this site go from totally non political, uninvolved bystanders to foaming at the mouth EMAILLSSSS followers since mid last year.

Crowdstrike is a private entity that works for different private (DNC) and public (Federales) entities, which means the private and public entities hardware/software are under different contracts.

The article you linked said it was basically a Democratic IT firm for the most part.

Conflict of interest.

You can't say I trust you, cause you work for me too. Well I guess you can, but it's a lil fascist. Regardless of the intermingled business relationship, which happens in all industries, a story of this magnitude would still seem to deserve having federale technicians taking a little more quality time doing their job.

The fact that the company was hired under a Democratic administration, works for the DNC, but is blaming a Republican candidate doesn't bode well when you saying they just copied information over to the Federales. That conflict of interest in a story on this level is to obvious.

In the OP video James Comey said himself, it is better to have the hardware, which makes better evidence.

Derailing my thread.

What does Charlottesville have to do with DNC servers? Please tell me.

Unless you are here to talk about IT/DNC server related dialogue, then kindly refrain from off topic responses.

Thanks breh.

Derailing my thread with paranoia.

I would like to use my thread to focus dialogue on a specific topic of IT/DNC servers.

If you would like to discuss other things feel free to do so in a different thread.

Thanks Breh.
