2016 Senate Election Interactive Map

The current U.S. Senate has 54 Republicans and 45 Democrats (including one independent). The 2016 Senate election takes place on November 8, 2016. There are 34 seats up in 2016, of which 24 are held by Republicans. Democrats will need to gain 4 or 5 seats to take control.

The biennial election for representatives from all 435 Congressional Districts will take place on November 8, 2016. Winners will be sworn in to serve in the 115th Congress in early January, 2017. The Republican Party currently controls the U.S. House, with 247 seats, 29 more than the 218 needed for control (when there are no vacancies).

That means roughly 80% of the Federal government is up for re-election.

So if the American public is sick and tired of people in Congress not passing effective legislation, then we should vote them out of office in November. Simple as that.

Ineffective oversight of the finance industry, police brutality, lack of quality education in the public sector, lack of jobs... all of that can be traced back to the accountability of Congress.

This thread has reminded me of why I stopped coming in here. The partisanship :scusthov:

The lack of use of just good ole common sense :scust:

Can someone tell me why this man was suddenly murdered conveniently around the timeline all this popped off? :comeon:
