Yeah Dogs legit get depressed when their owners past away. I remember my grandpa told me this story about this lady that had a dog and when she passed the dog passed a few weeks later.

I don't think they care like that. They're domesticated animals not wolves or anything. Dogs usually see the family they live with as their pack.

Plus most stray dogs don't even move in packs. They look sad af by themselves with nobody to care for them.

Dogs and cats definitely get depressed when their owner or some other member of the household (or another pet) dies or leaves.

Never heard of a hamster getting depressed tho...I'd be worried that he might have caught that shyt.
