The pink parts of that red map are the black people.

People cant help where they live. It takes a lot of stability and financial resources to uproot yourself from your family , career, and community involvement. Red state residents don't have much financial resources to begin with , if they want to make this move. Beyond finances, family history plays a role too. Imagine being descendants of the original black wallstreet in Tulsa and wanting to reclaim the foothold your grandparents had or being a black member of the various native tribes in Oklahoma and cherishing your ethnic heritage

the tulsa race massacre was one of the worst incidents of racial violence in american history

you should be ashamed of yourself for your ignorance of either history or basic geography

im going to assume you know of the massacre, because its been discussed on the news and also on here quite a bit

which leads me to deduce that you did not know that tulsa is in oklahoma

i give your post a D+

yes black people live here :snoop:

They rebuilt the town. Contrary to your simplistic belief. Black Wall Street faded due to racist Jim Crow and government laws. You can’t question me on black history.

And the premise of the thread was to question why any black American would want to live in a one of the most uneducated backwards states in the country.

Not to mention it’s in Tornado Alley

i was just messing with you man it aint that serious :lupe:

and absolutely they rebuilt it a lil bit. the interstate highway was like part 2 of it imo. i think they went through greenwood on purpose with 244. it also displaced a lot of whites/natives/mexicans on the east side going down admiral. i live here and the history of it is sorta known locally but not so much nationally. though its been getting out there more and more the last decade.

and those tornadoes are scary as shyt (we had one this year) :lupe:

Thread #562838 that indicates we’re not dealing with Black Americans on this forum
OR maybe you should acknowledge the US Education system is in complete shambles and doesn't teach fukk all because I definitely learned all this in the 5th grade
