In my youth I'd go several times a week, lived near some parks with man made lakes. Prefer to go to natural lakes or salt river. I need to start going more regularly. Last couple times I bought a fishing license only actually fished once or twice the whole year

Usually use spinning reels but maybe I'll pick up a bait caster, and only fishing off the shore
Typically go for bass with Texas rig worms, spoons, jigs, crankbaits, and when that fails switch to baitfishing for sunfish, trout (when in season) or catfish. Sometimes I'll bring a second rig fish the bottom and use another pole with lure. Fishing in metro AZ especially summer sucks, before dawn/after dusk with a boat is a huge advantage.

Yes it's definitely one of the more relaxing hobbies. I haven't fished in years though.

I'm born & raised in South Florida & got family in the Bahamas aka best deep sea fishing in the world and I've never been fishing

I need to make it a hobby, fishing is actually interesting to me & I don't even need a boat, just go on one of those at the dock that let's you pay $50 for 4 hours

Being raised by a single mom sucks

Fish in the Chesapeake Bay. It's about to be rockfish season in a week. Best time of year now. The big ones going back into the ocean and you can catch them on their way.

Biggest I caught is a 50lb rock.

Usually go out and troll...anywhere from 10 to 25 lines out at once.

Crabbing is a must. Use a trout line long as a football field strung up with chicken necks.

I love fishing, I hit freshwater mainly. I have tons of bait casting equip and some spinning. Senkos are the easiest bait for newbies it seems, they catch tons. My girl and nieces put up numbers with them. I fish worms, various jigs, swim baits, spinner baits, frogs and crank baits mainly.

I look on tacklewarehouse.com a few times a day. I love Shimano, Daiwa, G. Loomis. & Megabass gear the most.

I need to use my inshore stuff a lot more since I'm in South Florida.

KEep the fish, bring it home, clean, cook, eat.
My homeboy owns a boat, we go on his. When I go solo, I just fish from the bank/pier/shore.
