Stop being cheap and higher a pool cleaner. My guy only charges me $150/month and he stops by once a week to clean. Has my pool looking clear and clean.
I wasn't even being cheap I had someone who did it for me before. I just like knowing how to do shyt myself.

probably a dumb question but did you clean out the skimmer area and the pump basket already? those can block circulation as well.

haha. been there but with lizards.

do the return jets have clean water coming out? is the pressure of the water strong or at least as strong as the skimmer side?

The return jets start strong but I see I need to backwash more than I have been.

The water is def not clean.

if the water isnt clean just turn off the pump it's not doing any good. it's just moving dirty water around. at least until you can get the filter pressure down. and don't go to home depot their stuff is shyt. find an actual pool supply (hasa is a good brand for liquid). this combo has worked well for me. i brush an area and then add some of both right onto it.

having a pool is nothing that ever interested me. especially when you factor in that you gotta pay a fortune to heat them. plus pools are not really a big deal up here where there's so many months of cold climate.

Get a solar cover, one of the best things to have, keeps a lot of dirt and shyt out and warms it/keeps it from cooling as much at night

And they guy who said wasps are a problem, try to plant a bunch of flowers and shyt away from the pool, sunflowers are good
