Do any of you play multiple RPG games at the same time?

I'm playing Persona 3FES on my PC right now and I'm about 31 hours in so far and it's :ehh: and yet I don't want to start up a different game for some odd reason. It's like I feel the story and stuff won't have as much of an impact if I play it at the same time as other story driven games. I have FFX HD for PS3 still in it's wrapper but I'm waiting to finish P3FES first. I also fired up Chrono Trigger for the Snes(On my PC) but after about 10 minutes I decided not to continue. I want to play them one after another. I'm trying to catch up on all those JRPGS I missed.
I plan on finishing FFX after and then Chrono Trigger, then SMT III:Nocturne, and then a tales game or two for the PS3. These RPGS are seriously holding me down and it's why I hardly be playing anything else on Steam or on the PS4. Playing P3FES at 4K though is :banderas:. shyt looks too damn clear.

I'm trying and failing at that. Haven't played Bravely Default in over a month same with Tales of Symphonia HD and am currently playing Conception 2.

My problem is I'm such a moody gamer. I probably only game a couple weekend out of the month these days. Now is Xillia 2 or something came out I'd march straight through that. I did so with Lightning Returns only because it was so short. There's only certain games I play straight through and it's gotta be a game I was really hyped for.

this is why I don't finish a lot of games. I start playing something else, get distracted, forget what I was doing in the first game, and want to start over. I think I'm on my third attempt to make it through The Witcher 2

Yeah, for the past few months, I've been playing way too many at a time to the point where I've had to block out all the other games I want to play and focus entirely on the RPG's. Since they're longer than my other games, I like to get them out of the way first, and also because I'm paranoid about my gamesaves being lost and me losing dozens of hours of progress because of bad experiences in the past. That's why when I start an RPG these days, I guarantee myself to finish it either that same month or a few weeks (maybe 2 or 3) from when I first start playing it, just so I can back up my completed save file somewhere and feel safe. But I've recently dwindled down my RPG stack, so I can finally get back to playing pick up and play games that are more relaxing and less stressful to manage. All that grinding had me ready to gouge my own eyes out.

That's why it's best to constantly back up save files. In P3FES, it's almost crucial to save the game constantly and in multiple slots. That way if I encountered a difficult boss, I could at least go back a few hours of playtime and plan accordingly. It's nerve wracking to spend a grip of time fighting bosses back to back with no saves in between.

Yeah, I learned that the hard way with Persona 4. It eventually got to the point where I got so fed up with losing hours of progress from the bosses and toughest random battles that I would go save after every floor or so when going through the dungeons just to be safe. Made things extra tedious, but for me it was worth it.

All the time since its pretty much my go to genre for gaming. I'm playing Radiant Historia and Shin Megami Tensei IV right now. I'll also be picking up Child of the Light in a few days. I usually go on RPG binges where I run through 3 or 4 in a row then take a long brake so I don't burn myself out.

I can see how some would just play one at a time though. A lot of these games are just too fukking long and its hard to dedicate that amount of time to a game, especially if you prefer console RPGs.
... Conception 2.
How is this?

Which tales game r u gonna get? I also have ff x hd still in the wrapper
Well that's far off but I'm thinking Tales of Xillia. There's so many Tales games that it feels convoluted. I originally wanted FFX HD for the Vita but they didn't have any at Gamestop when I bought it. Had I bought it for the Vita, I probably would've started it already. I said I was going to start it after completing P4 Golden but then that made me want even more Persona. :ld:.
