Not worth it IMO
You could get lucky and study it for a career, but there u gotta get a masters I think
Being a therapist isn't worth it, its a depressing job with at best decent pay
The healthcare System is fly weird right now so it's hard to say. I'm no expert in this I just know that your gonna hear some fukked up stuff that will challenge your faith in humanityI'm trying to open a practice in the future and I want to cater to my own people. Would the pay still suck if I'd mostly be billing the state? My people mostly can't afford health care.

Aaye aye Fe, you thnk I should call her? I thnk I should call her. You thnk I should call her?
I'm studying Psychology right now and im a year away from a BA and 1 semester from a Associates but im trying to get a Master's in business too. You can get jobs with a BA in Psychology but its not going to be what you think. I work for a Top 3 Insurance company and they offer jobs that require a BA in Psychology and the starting pay is $40,000+ but outside of jobs that require that degree there is not much out there. Unless you got a Ph.D, Psychology is useless, even a Masters isn't all that unless you can get it for counceling.
Sounds like you've got your answer, but don't social workers take psychology courses?
I'm sure they don't make amazing money either, but my guess is that if you're into psychology, chances are you're not driven by money to begin with.
It's a fascinating subject to study, to be sure.
I think most people take Psych 101 in college...you gloss over the same old Pavlov's dogs stuff and a few other interesting studies but few advance past that 1st class.
im taking some this fall, abnormal psychology, adolescent psychology, psychology of women, psychology of minorities, sexual psychology, drug dependent. etc, the list goes on breh, plus im at a research college, shyt is mangificent brehSounds like you've got your answer, but don't social workers take psychology courses?
