What are u doing to stop or make aware the racism Mexicans have towards blacks in LA?
I have explained to them the various times black people have taken me into their homes and treated me like family.
How they allowed me to walk into their kitchen and get what I want without even asking (something I wasn't used to because Mexicans be all uptight about that shyt)
How they've been there for me through thick and thin.
I especially talk to the older crowd, like my grandma and aunts who are stuck in the old ways. And they are starting to understand that we are all people.
The same thing I tell people on here I tell my peopple. How were at the bottom and how the white man wants us to divided to keep control over us.
My stepdad lost his arm at work and a black man came to his rescue. Took off his shirt and stopped the bleeding and my step dad eventually survived.
He invited that man and his family to our Mexican only church and he told everyone there that blacks are our brothers. That we need to stop looking at each other as enemies and as brothers.
If I see a racist Mexican and he's talking that ignorant shyt, I don't acknolwedge them, nor befriend them. I've been around black people all my life. I know where my heart is.
