@ what this thread came to. @kayslay no offense but you sound a little hurt and lacking in knowledge and experience. it also doesn't help when you have to copy and paste someone else's argument to hold up your own who also seem to be butthurt. name calling and condescending attitudes cuts both ways any thinking adult should know that by now.I still can't understand why you guys are so mad/threatened by black immigrants
this whole post is justPOST #1

when it comes to this subject. Is why I'm slowly leaning towards her argument. It wasn't no scraps being thrown, my people had to fight to get what we have here. When I hear the stories my mother tells, I can't believe they went through that shyt. It keeps coming back to this is why there is no respect shown, yall have this idea that whites just felt sorry for black americans, and gave us something. Reading the posts from the delta chick made me think about a lot of things. Like Africans getting so much money in aid yet do nothing with it. They have countries, but most of them are in deep shyt, yet they look down on us when we are constantly fighting for our growth and get no type of money. I really have a feeling things are about to change, and immigrants are not going to be seen in a positive light because of the disrespect. They wave their flag, which I can understand, but dis America at the same timewell apparently black immigrants are taking some of the scraps thrown to AAs by white america.
. Its like they are playing us. I always felt I had to give respect because I grew up hearing about black pride, and was seeing how racists whites treated all of us but, it wasn't my experience from most. There was an African I knew that was a real good brother but a lot of them, just like west Indians/latins, try to distance themselves and give a feeling of that they are better then you. What's weird is they would only do it when they were around each other in big numbers or around their elders. Which is when I started to notice this shyt. Out of not wanting to dis blacks in front of others, and disrespecting the good people I met, I just let it slide but I don't think I can anymore. Especially with the internet letting people show their true colors. I never heard a lot of the stuff I read.I'm trying to write a 5 page paper on struggles black immigrants specifically from the Carribeans face in the United States and the struggles they face that black americans don't. Interested to hear different perspectives other than my own. Will make my paper more interesting and easier to write. Thanks in advance.
Kayslay did that for me because I couldn't read the post from LSA.

Now that President Obama is allowing these immigrants some rights, and don't give two shyts about us, I'm seeing its time to change some things, and my thinking of blacks being together is one of them. I like Tariq nasheed and others like him but, I think I'm going to have to chill with the blacks of the world unite stuff. If we got tricked before, and our asses were sent here, who is to say it won't happen again in another way? That's what history is for, to show you what not to do again, and if we see now who isn't really down for us, we need to take heed before they be used against us just like they are using latin immigrants. I think its time for us to do us. I have no hate for immigrants and the children of them but, now I see they do have an issue with me, so my black ass better wake up or all the work my people did for me to have a better life will be gone, and it was done by someone who I thought was my brother, since we all went through the same shyt from the same group. Hell no, I ain't letting that happen. I will mingle with them to observe, and learn, but always aware that they are competing with me, and don't really care about me, for the most part. The ones who prove they aren't with the bullshyt, I'll treat them like I always have, with respect, and as a brother.
you american africans run in cliques im sure you already know how yall roll.
i take it your testing my knowledge on African fukkery?
just know im hip to yalls BS, and yall can cut out the woe is me " 3 Black Americans bullied me back in 7th grade even though im 28 now im still going to use that as justification to be rude to every AA i encounter" act.
Kayslay did that for me because I couldn't read the post from LSA.

This concept of immigrants taking away your rights is the oldest trick in the book and people still fall for it tell me how is a group of 1 million has prevented a population of 40+ million from "doing them" instead of focusing on unity and strengthening the ties and acknowledge that both sides can be on some BS people want to point fingers.
Out of all of that, you came away with "immigrants taking away our rights" even though I never even wrote it, or heard anyone say that. Its like yall are in lala landI'm reffering to the ones who come here. When its a good number who act like that, what are you to do when you have other people to worry about as well? And they have a history of selling you out which is why we are here. All she was doing was putting up a mirror to those who talk slick about AA, and Jamaicans, so they can see reality. Its worse then I thought because she said she heard it herself when in London. That girl's arguments are general and so broad that they become very dangerous stop brushing one community with a broad brush damn bruh it's a continent with 54 countries and over a billion people and there is 1 million of them in the US. It's the same crowd that makes the whole stereotype of African being black as hell and speaking click languages when that shyt is concentrated in the southern part of the continent and Ethiopians are different than Nigerians in looks experiences, history and everything. Don't let your experience with a bunch of Africans taint your opinion about one billion plus people.
