50 and diddy have a black ny accent that's why.

From when I lived there I heard.

A jewis ny accent - (eg) woody allen

A hispanic ny accent - (eg) rosie perez, j -lo,

A black ny accent - (eg) basically all black ny rappers

A italian ny accent - (eg) al pacino n dem

and those accents vary very slightly from borough to borough....for instance i can tell immediately when someone (mainly italian) is from BK or Staten Island...Queens is somewhere in the middle of those two...theres layers to this shyt

Northeastern blacks generally have the heaviest sounding regional accents outside of Blacks from the Deep South

yep...I hear it when I talk to my cousin on the phone
Yep and you can even hear the regional differences. Jadakiss for example has a heavy Italian influence because there are a lot of Italians up in the north BX/south Westchester area

Camron's accent is heavily influenced by the Jewish accent (yo lemme get a extra worter)

I think kids adopt the accents of their teachers... I remember for a while my baby sister had a Jamaican babysitter, and for a minute she had a little Jamaican accent :dead: Those years from 4-10 are very formative

there's an "urban" NY accent (includes Jersey and NYC sububs) i guess. its different from the standard NY accent and the typical southern black accent. And its not just black NYers speaking it, its all Hispanics, ALbanians, Italians etc

that's wrong breh.

Black people in ny/nj have a specific way of talking. If a albanian/hispanic/italian talks like that they have grown up around black people.

Shieeeeet you gonna have to a born and raised black nyer to hear the difference . I lived there for a few but all black people from ny sounded the same to me. Only thing different was the slang.
