Do black people waste too much time and resources trying to build up the hood?

Show me a hood that black people try to help and I’ll show you a hood

Nothing changes. There’s literally nothing black people can do that will make the hood a better place. It will always stay a hood.

Black people would’ve benefited significantly more if they focused more on black suburbs and black working class areas

But of course you have blacc ppl that assume every blacc ppl not living in the projects is “rich” and doesn’t need help

Maybe the help might not make the hood better, but helps the people in the hood live better and be better.

Just don’t be paternalistic about it and you straight. Everything else will fall into place.

Have you seen the state of the hood. Thats your definition of too much time and resources spent building up a community lol.
I seen a video where nikkas was saying they got million dollar grants for Compton. Only for Compton to not only still be dangerous, but become overwhelmingly Hispanic

Literally was a waste of money

Inglewood on the other hand is still majority black(more ppl owned homes) and has became significantly safer.

The "hood" exists because cacs prevented wealth from being built by Black people and destroyed it when it did exist.

And also because Black people thought it would be a great idea to destroy their wealth through integration by abandoning their black owned grocery stores, laundromats, gas stations, restaurants, drug stores, movie theaters, etc...
