Great Question.

The Greatest Ever is Jon Jones (debatable) or You can say Anderson Silva.

The Heavyweight Champ is DC

The Lightweight Champ was DC who is now Jon Jones

The Welterweight Champion is Usman who Just beat Tyron Woodley

Number 1 Contender in the Middleweight Division is Yoel Romero

Greatest Flyweight is Mighty Mouse

The Greatest Figther in the Womans Division is Amanda Nunez

The Top 2 in The Pound for Pound is

  • 1. Daniel Cormier (21-1-0 1NC; 235 lb / 106 kg)
  • 2. Jon Jones (24-1-0; 205 lb / 93kg)
And this is with a small percentage of Black people in the sport

When we get the smaller 5 foot 6 black people to join the sport we have a chance to take over lightweight , featherweight and bantamweight

However i think the best athletes usually decide to take their talents to other sports.:yeshrug:
thanks for not being a dikk :salute:

i say this every year about boxing and why there's a lack of top black fighters like in ithe 80s

black athletes are more prone to play football or basketball first. Kids aren't growing up fighting like they use to. White kids still grow up wrestling because that's literally all their stumpy bodies will allow them to do most of the time or QB or OL

We do not make up 40% of the UFC are you crazy? More like 10%

And currently 3 champs are black and Israel will most likely secure the middle weight strap making it 4 champs out of 7

Bay Area.
White folks are def a majority of the ufc but look at all the champs.
Cejudo 125 champ and he just beat dillawshaw the 135 champ in under a minute.
135 is gonna be either moraes or sterling
Max 145
Usman 170
Whittaker 185
Bones 205
Dc heavyweight

155 is the only belt held by a cac, and even then he’s not really a cac. More of a mountain cac.

I just realized 2 of the female straps are occupied by a mixed race Brazilian too lol

Other than Angela hill I don't think any black female fights at 115. Angela hill is ranked if memory serves me correctly.

I feel like UFC culture as a whole is racist and that's part of why I can't get into it. It's a lot of cacs pretending they're actually good at something but it seems to me that a lot of the top fighters end up being Black and they don't get anywhere near the same push as the cacs and Latinos

been saying this for years.

for what its worth, it seems that silva & jones are considered the goats, even tho they don't market them like that. so at least they arent trying to low-ball them of their rightful props.

silva used to get absurd push

jones can't be marketed because he's a scumbag :dead:

Id still take a prime Jose Aldo over Max :yeshrug:
Nope I wouldn't and I am a huge aldo fan. I just thing the reach and size of max is to much and even skill wide he's right there. And aldo is only 33 max beat him twice when he was 31 and 32 I believe. Same age as bones. I just think the generation after him caught up to him. Would love to see aldo vs ortega though. Max could beat also streak but I have a feeling he's going to move up but I honestly don't want him to abandon the 145 belt.

Don't forget Silva back pedaling jab that slept forrest:blessed:

To this day, that's still one of the most demoralizing knockouts I've ever seen in my life. It was so effortless looking.

Also remember Griffin dipping out on the post-fight declaration and interview, too. :lolbron:

I was about to say. UFC has to be the most black dominant league in which black ppl make up such a small percentage of fighters..As You noted, the two fighters regarded in some circles as being possibly the pound for pound greatest of all time are both black(Silva and Jon Jones) and Woodley is making his way as an all time great, despite losing to Usman(another black man). Imagine if MMA gyms became popular in black inner city neighborhoods, the same way boxinv gyms were back in the days.

It’s not like boxing is popular these days either
