Wow.
So, going by your logic, only misquided males from broken homes ran by women were the only ones murdered in cold blood, assaulted, faced discrimination? Where do they do that at? That's illogical thinking. You do realize that bad things/situations/people happen to good people every single day...right?
A king is going to be out here protecting himself at all times.

If a man isn't doing that, he's a misguided male. Now take that and learn from it.

Didn't watch the video, if you did then you'd see how you're wrong.

I'm not using your opinions to form my own, I'm asking a question to black women through the voice of another black woman who states her perspective which you openly ignore for the sake of what? An online argument, your post comes of negative, mine comes off intuitive. Don't take your anger out on me, because I do desire discussion, that's why a few days ago I made a thread devoting the importance to understanding women instead of bashing them.

I appease to both groups, not just one. Get your worth right, homey tryna smash cause your skirt tight.

ow

Not angry...your journey. You "requested an opinion of a black woman" - I am giving it to you. Take it or leave it. Intuition, if your question was really coming from that place, would have echoed back to you a resounding 'hell yes'. Period.
BTW - The latter part of your post is
irrelevant & nonsense.

1. I never said or implied that BM tore up the communities. Im speaking strictly about why our culture

Its the dudes throwing their hands up and spending all his time naming enemies thats keeping it this way.
Wrong :comeon:

2. In what regard? Do you mean societally or just in the home? We have to narrow the scope or you are just making generalizations.

its usually men showing a lack of understanding for the woman. Check how many empowerment movements tend to forget the woman.

Not entirely true/false because there is an obvious reason why more BW are a part of misguided "movements" but your conclusion is WRONG :comeon:

3. Breh, again, im covering just the point about matriarchy. The scope of the why and how are far too large for me to generalize about it like that, why is why I didn't.
White supremacy + Capitalism + 1st wave feminism.....not hard :comeon:

I just watched the video, then read the comments :mjlol:

Good luck with your thread breh :wow:
Might spark some good convo though.

Did you like the video though?

I empathizing and understanding are the same thing for the person who said they aren't equivalent. Sympathizing and understanding aren't. That's why I asked if black women empathize.

The first quote, again, was in response to a declaration that "matriarchy" is not a good thing.
What did you think I was talking about?

Everything else :yeshrug: wont argue.

Ima need you to be more specific with your question.
Sure, not a problem.
What I am asking you is, do you think men instill bravery, confidence, resolve, values & morals in themselves...enabling him to "protect his manhood"? WHO instilled/nutured these traits in him? (I'm not living in a bubble so I am aware that it could be a combination of parents (1 of which is...a black woman), life, spirituality, peers, etc.)

And I don't agree with it. BM couldn't create a patriarchy if we wanted to nor is patriarchy/matriarchy the primary issue. Blaming BM rubs me the wrong way.
:francis:Look, my comments were never meant to blame anyone for anything, just to say that if someone wants it different, fight in that direction and start with home. Either way, fair play to your pov.
