I’ve never heard of black couples not splitting the mortgage or rent unless the man already had the house before her. I’ve also never heard of black women not contributing financially to the household, until the social media brainwashing.

Black women work with married non black women, so obviously, as woman with a full time job or career is paying bills.

Idk who told black women that women of other races don’t help pay household bills. Black couples don’t work together, it’s usually two kingdoms under one roof. Also, black men have been manipulated into thinking that if we don’t pay all of the bills, we aren’t real men. They all tell this lie that the man is supposed to pay all of the bills and she’ll keep her money for the family savings . When she leaves your ass, I guarantee she won’t take half of that money and hand it to you.

Black men are the biggest tricks around and no one talks about it. Ask your rank and file average white boy what he got his wife for Christmas and he’ll say something simple like a robe or something small pertaining to a hobby that she has like. Black men will spend their absolute last trying to make a bytch happy, buying YSL and Gucci for the broad.

But most blk households either have one person paying for the rent/mortgage or they’re living single which means they’re paying for the whole thing

Idk of any of my family members splitting rent/mortgages with their partners.

My parents have been married for over 43 years and split the bills. Matter of fact all my family members that are married split the bills. Me and My wife split too. Same goes for the all the white people and other races I know.

My wife and I split the bills based off our incomes. Bill money goes into a shared checking account, and the rest gets thrown into our personal checking. I make way more bread than her to going 50/50 lowkey isn't fair.

Yeah most my family are definitely splitting bills. It don't have to be just rent/mortgage either. Whatever bills they pay helps, could be utilities, food, etc.

I can’t say for sure, but I’d guess that most pay proportionally or they put all their money into 1 acct, if they’re married. If they’re working adults and living with their parents, I see some young people pay nothing, while others help out a little and others pay more
