For no reason at all, I just had an idea for a blend that would probably sound ill.

The words of Missy - "Work It"
The beat of Flipmode Squad - "Everybody On The Line Outside"

Imagine that ish...don't that sound like some 11:30 chit at the club, doe?

It made me think - they used to make these kinda chits all the time...
do they still do that?

The sad shyt is, I think that and many other things like scratching are a lost art...you see alot of DJ's who just set up shop at parties and let their playlist rock out lol I dont think new school Dj's have the ear to blend songs like that tbh

You just gotta let things cycle back. Once shyt starts becoming a "lost art" it will then become "cool again". And the DJs that can scratch and blend and mix will start getting the :ooh:'s and :ahh:'s while those who just press play will get the :ehh:

Still unless its a hiphop show for the most part people get annoyed at scratching & all that or it throws them off

There's no more standards or skills to that shyt just hype and popularity. Some of the biggest DJ's can't do shyt... Mix, blend, scratch, u name it lol.

But if people keep dancing to it without knowing better who do you blame?

I hear what you sayin'...but dig:

Imagine if you was in DEH CLUUUB and you head the beat to "Fancy" come on...but then the words to another song that was tight
was over it? Wouldn't that be a nice surprise?
