I love my classic East Coast albums, but I find myself thinking that overtime they just don't compete with the westcoast and the south...
Not to make this a thread about how the West Coast is better than the east, blah blah blah..... because the East has it's classics (and they are just as good), but from a revisiting standpoint, I see myself playing other regions albums more...
Aquemini
Stankonia
The Chronic
Doggystyle
All Eyez on Me
Trap Muzik
400 Degreez
Soul Food
101
Atliens
2001
Straight Outta Compton
Good Kid, Madd City....
Doctor's Advocate (I think this is better than the Documentary)
It's like my East coast classics fit 1 particular mood, and you have to be in that mood to play them. While the albums mentioned above can be played anytime, anywhere, anyplace.... The main East Coast classic that I play the most is probably The Black Album... and Nas is my favorite rapper of all time......
