Karma? :pachaha:

If Karma exists, explain how slavery lasted for 400 years. Explain how Darren Wilson received a Mil in donation money and got off for cold blooded murder.

@ben anderson Yeah, you gave steps but that wouldn't work because Paypal puts a 21 day hold on your funds and even if they didn't put a hold on the funds, there would be no way to release the funds before the buyer reported you.

Also, if you create a new ebay, they limit your account if you sell too fast.

Once you build your rep up they release the funds as soon as the buyer pays for the item. Before you even send the item off in the mail. To do this scam you gotta season an account for at least a few months with legit transactions then hit em. It can work if you have an account specifically for that purpose. But the OP sound like this some shyt he came up with on the fly, and shyt like that is when you get caught

yea i know there are ways around it though. gift payments under 250$ dont get limited and it depends on what the buyer list in the description. any high risk items like shoes, phones computers get limited i havent done this shyt in like a year.

What about the paypal. If there is no bank linked to the paypal how did you get the money? It doesn't make sense to link personal bank info to paypal unless you got "spoofed" bank information. :lupe:

What items are you listing?

This is all for conversation, I by no means would get involved in any of this...:whoa:

I have a friend who decided to "cash in" his good standing on ebay, has over 200 good feedback at 100%. He listed a number of laptops without any intent to send the goods. He racked up 8k thus far and wants to stop at 11k. I'm telling him he will get busted, but he says it's unlikely as they'll just go through the dispute proccess and Paypal will refund them though their protection program. He says no one will bother going to the police, and if they do, they won't do much, especially if they're from a different state.

I've been scammed before of a laptop, where some Arab guy who;s sold 600 shavers all of a sudden started selling Macbook Pros, I bought one of them. I didn't receive the laptop for 2 weeks, I got annoyed by his stonewalling and decided to give him his first negative feedback. In 2 hours, he had an avalanche of negative feedback, 11 customers complaining they got scammed from purchases made 3-4 weeks ago (all laptops). His account was closed the next day, I just filed a dispute and got my money back in a couple weeks.

So what you guys think? Will my roommate get away with it? What are the chances?
Ebay will probably reimburse you
when there is a dispute between the buyer & seller, Ebay tends to side with the seller (on most cases)

Ive heard about shyt like this. Ive sold some risque items on ebay. Had banned accounts an all.

Ebay/Paypal won't do shyt. Obviously this is something I wouldn't do with an account attached to your real name but even then they wont come after you.
I dont think the banks would take 11 racks lightly. Just saying. Paypal will take it in stride and refund the buyers money but who is to say the banks dont look into it. Why take that risk. And I know that lots of folks get over on ebay but they make a dedicated effort of it. They using different laptops with different IP addresses from jump street. It sounds to me like your homeboy just had a regular ebay account for years and then decided to do this shyt on a whim. If the account is in his name and linked to his address I would say its stupid. It'll probably work in the end but with hot shyt like that I like to air on the side of caution. It only takes one time to get caught. And fukk what these people saying about the Feds only getting involved in shyt 300K and up. I've got homeboys in the the USP right now for tax fraud amounts a lot less than 300K, even had the secret service come to my door looking for my one of my patnas who was claiming false fuel credits on shelf companies in amounts just ranging from 15-35K.

Tax fraud is not the same level as ebay/paypal scamming

There are ways around it. They got a lot of info online about ways to finesse ebay. Look up Aspkin, they got a few others sites and forums out there too. I have a few accounts and I fukk with random shyt. I got one that sells antiques, one that sells some products I order from China and another where I sell whatever random shyt I can come up on at a auction. I also fukk Amazon and Etsy. And thats what I was saying, its too easy to make legit money online to run a scam on ebay under your own information. If you gonnna do it then it has to be someone else info form jump street with a different ip address and different paypal than your real account.

There's plenty of places to buy accounts with PayPal's attached to get around all that shyt. Darknet markets(cheaper but unverified), aspkin.

Im kinda confused about looking up reddit...is this for what items to sell? Also I heard about TOR but wasn't sure if it was legit. I red that your activity is still detected even with using TOR.

Just spend one night or one moeing dedicated to it. Trust me I could make more on eBay just,by selling stuff from accounts on for than my job. I used to, bought a mustang paid down loans, went on trips all in college. But u just got to sit down and view all the stuff nobody can give u the info u got to sit down and do it. Doesn't take long its just slightly boring

I just googled that. it looks like its better version of Silk Road but I couldnt find tor...? What is that
agora markets are cheaper. I highly highly advise buying the guide from aspkin and your first account from there. Otherwise u will mess up and waste the money you spend on buying accounts. They guide u pretty well when u first start then you should start buying cheaper accounts off the darknet

I fukk with Aspkin. I paid for the access but you can get alot of info off of there for free. I also bought an account from a dude on there and it got banned after only like 6 months. So that shyt can be risky too. But Im looking at this agora shyt now, im pretty interested already. I had never heard of it until yall mentioned it
