There are many ppl who are overweight through no fault of their own, though.(suffer from injury, or illness such as heart problems, all which pevent them having an semblence if an active life)

I know exactly what you speak of, as I have an overweight homey with an even overerweighted wife. All that fat cac slob does is shove food down her fat kids' throats all damn day. When they were babies and cried she shoved snacks down their throat. When they were grade schoolers and it was time to eat a meal, they ate adult portions..huge portions that she would gleefully pile on their plates.

Now two of them are in high school and are feeling the cons of being fat like they've never felt them before. They get bullied and the whole 9.

I got a fat homeboy who got an even fatter brother and his momma fat but atleast he's somewhat active enough to balance it out...slightly . If I made him my roommate then I'd take it upon myself to get him to get his shyt together.

It's nice that you would take the initiative to help your friend out. I feel like if more people motivated and encourage their friends and family into getting into a healthy lifestyle they may have a change of heart who knows.

In the past couple of months my cousin ( has type 1 diabetes) and I have been getting together and walking and working out I've lost 27 pounds. Sometimes it all about letting things go.A snack here and there during the day, the pop or juice you have with your meals, etc.

I'm hoping we can keep each other motivated enough to get to our goal weights.

Oh yeah and to answer the OP's question im not disgusted at all... In life we all have choices.

No. But what kinda person actively chooses the least optimal body? It's all well and good till the chronic health conditions come in.

Just like people shame druggies and promiscuous people, a lot of big people toss their quality of life to the bushes. People typically show more

respect to people who operate in a way that respects themselves. People who routinely balloon in weight in absence of a medical condition clearly

don't care about themselves. Self-fulfilling prophecy.

Dude at my job has this HUGE gut. Like "Wow" when you first see it. He talks about losing weight, meanwhile this cat literally eats all day long. He snacks on apples and protien bars but if you eat 10 of them you might as well be eating a number 2 combo. He also drinks directly from a 2 liter of diet Pepsi. shyt supposed to have zero calories but they have to put something in it besides water so iono.

Fat people act like hunger pangs are a near death experience. That's the issue with them. Go without eating for 12 hours. Drink some water if you feel empty. Your big ass would take 90 days to starve to death. Be hungry sometimes.

they hate fat people, but we recognize the harm being done to self with regards to obesity. Obesity isn't talked about in American media

I feel that. I changed my tune the moment my grandmother and mother started having health problems due to being overweight.

Having worked in insurance billing for a while, that shyt costs money too But meh, color me one of few who cares for a different reason

other than looks.

Anybody in NYC familiar with the metro mall in middle village, I swear when you go there you will see that 85% of the people who go there because of BJ's are obese, and you see them waddling out to the parking lot with those flat bed carts full of junk food, enough to feed a third world nation. shyt is depressing. On top of that there's a burger king in there so you know they hitting that up on their way out since it's right by the exit. I don't see how any of these people deserve sympathy.

It costs everyone money, they aren't just hurting themselves anymore, they are fukking over everyone else because of the fact their health related problems are more than the national GDP of 120 countries. People minding their business is exactly how we got to this point, obesity related health problems cost 3x as our damn Education budget
