if i tell someone i dated him, then i'm going to have to explain myself. it is easier just to deny the situation.
i love ur honestyif i tell someone i dated him, then i'm going to have to explain myself. it is easier just to deny the situation.

From my observations, where women struggle to get over exes is when the relationship did not end on their terms. Whether she got did wrong, she did wrong, or the dude decided this just wasn't working anymore, in general the process is much tougher as -- and I have this on good authority from my female friends -- they don't break up with or dump a cat until they have completely detached from him emotionally. During that period of detachment, the guy still has a chance to rekindle whatever it was that cuffed her in the first place or whatever.
If things end on the woman's terms? There will be a mourning period but she'll be fine.
A situation like what OP is laying out? Nah. Like the saying goes, "Out of sight, out of mind." Hard to get over someone you have to cross paths with regularly.
