Do kids not watch Television anymore?

Kids multitask now. They like to have the tv on in the background while their face is buried in the tablet

my kid likes to watch youtube on ipad while doing face time on iphone. or sometimes those things are reversed.

but they don't watch tv for some reason. like they'd rather watch youtube on a small 6" screen vs a big ass TV

As an adult I feel the same. I sold my TV in college over 10 years ago to be able to focus more and never replaced it. I can spend my time on YouTube being entertained while learning something new. Watching TV feels like a waste of time and I absolutely hate having to watch commercial.

So I’ve got my 4 nephews and nieces all under ten livng with me for a few days. I subscribed to Disney Plus on my 55 inch HD tv thinking I was going to be the cool uncle that spoils them with HD Mickey Mouse etc and these little brats haven’t even watched anything on it since they arrived


They’re all hunched up with their junky looking android tablets watching some weird children’s shyt on YouTube or playing some games and I’m here like “why y’all ain’t watching Disney on the TV?

They’ll lift their heads for like 2 seconds and go back their YouTube videos. Is this what kid do these days?

You wanna be a cool uncle throw them broke boy android tablets in the trash and cop some iPads.

I took away the tablet and phone from my 11 year old daughter..her grades and concentration level have greatly improved since

My boys literally play with legos and toys, with headphones on listening to some youtube shyt on the Switch, while watching Craig of the Creek on HBO. Then them nikkas have a nerf gun fight for 5 minutes, get tired, and then get back to doing what they was doing
