Do kids play outside any more?

Man I haven't seen any kids playing outside doing anything in hella long. Back in the day me and my friends would be out riding bikes, playing baseball, basketball, street football, etc.

I don't know if it's because I've been apartment dwelling for the last couple of years but I haven't seen kids playing outside in forever.

WTF do they do all day?

It's a bunch of lil nikkas running around playing AAU sports and Popwarner football. Also would see a bunch of jits on my way from my old job at the Y or the park .

My little friend does, her papa takes her out with the dog. I was over there the other day she was showing me tumbles in the grass and her big wheel skills in the driveway lol. She's only like 4 though

My 5 year old god son goes to the park often. There's usually kids there

I don't if it cuz I grew up in a tourist city or what but that narrative of kids don't play anymore is false. Maybe they don't play as much outside as we did before cuz they got 4k video games systems and tablets but they still play from what I seen. They actually be in the fukking way a lot of times too.

Not as much as we did but they still do. Once they can start using a smartphone it's over though.

They have an internet addiction and parents are not taking it serious.

My nephew is here due to a family emergency and I just changed the PW cause -- his ass in on discord and playing PlayStation at the same time.

Like, who could he be talking too - kids his age are still in school. Yet, his ass in there being loud and I hear cursing on both ends.

Of course, now he walking around pissed. Oh well.

He is addicted and it's bad.

He needs to be doing his homework or studying. To me, it seems like he has no time boundaries for his usage-- and I blame my sister.

kids have more on their plate now than I did growing up...I always commended them for that when I was teaching...growing up I just had to do homework then I could go outside and do w/e...these kids tho are in organized sports, clubs, committees etc. in/outside of school from a very early age...@ certain age levels some of them don’t even come home til about 6 and THEN they still have homework to worry about...the only kids that play outside in my neighborhood are extremely young...like pre-k age

My nieces and nephews only go outside when the grownups tell them to get off the computer or the tablet's battery is dead
