Lying my way through a 10 year joint right now. So yes lord help maintain a relationship

Imagine biting your tongue or telling lies to make another mfer happy because they too fragile for the truth.
Omission is the key. No way can another person handle all the details you have. You have to assess which Ls your situation can survive should the other ever find out, and your already-low chance of explaining yourself has no chance f being heard.

I call my lies, small “omissions”
Lies keep you out of unnecessary arguments
I rarely lie to my wife but it’s a couple that I’ve told to not start a fight/discussion over something that I didn’t want to go in to details about
Women have a weird way of making small shyt an indictment on the whole relationship when said lie actually has no impact whatsoever or it was just something personal I had to deal with
But if you are going to lie
Remember what you said because if your woman is smart like mines or has recall
You could find yourself in some real shyt

I didn't say lie. You just don't tell them everything. This goes for any woman, your girl, your mother, whoever.

But I will say I was talking to this older married Italian man. And he was saying that to make a marriage last you gotta use sugar and vinegar. Most the time you give the wife sugar but at times you have to use the vinegar.
