Do males raised by single mothers grow up with a sense of authority and need to maintain order over their community and women?

Despite me being raised by a struggling single mother and having a sociopathic "publicly successful but privately deadbeat" man for a father who refuses to speak to me or acknowledge my existence to this very day and didn't meet me until last year for the first and only time so far, in a way I got VERY lucky with the mother that I have in the face of all the hardships we had when I was a kid.

Unlike a lot of the other young black boys I grew with in the projects that I lived in, she managed to not only give me plenty of love, guidance, affection and protection, but she also even taught me not to be a simp (as a lot of men raised by single moms tend to be) in subtle ways as I grew older into my teen years :pachaha::wow:

Everything depends if the son had a uncle or a real father figure around

If dude is only been around women like aunts and mama co friends then he’ll be more emotional

Women don’t become single mothers by themselves

But as the one who carries the child you gotta make better decisions in your sperm donors

Keep your boys around masculine non clown dudes as much as possible if the father isn’t present. And don’t keep the father away either. A woman can’t teach a man how to be a man.

Statistics show you better with parents... but stats dont matter to Black folks.

And All critique of our women is bashing and hate right?
That is false no data shows that at all

A child with either parent missing is fukked

Strong manhood provides a sense of calm in a household..without it, and the kids feeding off moms ungrounded emotions, you get hyper masculinity and destructive behaviors that ruin communities.
I thought it was long agreed that no man around was the worst thing :what:
This is bullshiit. Because how is that dad around being a calming presence, why he ain't @work?

Maybe everybody is different but I mostly grew up with a single mom, with no consistent male figures in my life and so did my brother. Infact the vast majority of my friends came up in the same situation. Neither of us are feminine or have some weird warped view on society. This shyt is stupid to me.

If you had a good parent, single or not, and solid home life, there is a good chance you will come out alright. There are plenty of single moms bustin their ass and making it work for their kids just fine. But the coli seems to think that a single mom will pump out either Magic Johnson's son or Pooh Shiesty....thats it, no middle ground

This is a problem right here. Even if you did come out ok, which i doubt bcuz you believe that being raised by a single mom ok bcuz u and your brother came out ok. 1 household out of millions worked out ok, so its to be done. Smh. Not wise.

There's so much women dont understand and have absolutely no clue about. Neighborhood dynamics, predators target homes with no men there. A women cant teach u how to deal with men in most instances. They can try they best but theres just so much that's impossible for them to understand.

I notice family with little to no men are full of chaos and drama. Women need me to balance them out and vice versa.

Too many women believe its fine to raise children without men. Its not. So much women dont know and cant teach.

So many boy grow up soft and simple like u, no real clue as what men really suppose to do.
So why don't you be the man that helps them by making one your wife :unimpressed:

My question is what else is he supposed to do?

His father, for whatever reason, hasn't in his life. If the man isn't in the picture, whether from being deadbeat or literally dead, what else is a single mother supposed to do at that point?

You can finger wag about choosing better men, but the woman is in the child's life at the end of the day. They can't do a perfect job, especially without hardship but a flawed parent is still a parent. One not involved isn't a parent at all :manny:

Only thing that makes sense is to be harder on men who abandon their kids and create these broken homes. Versus attacking the parent who stayed
