I think so. I know a guy that wanted a chick that looked like Mariah Carey but settled for a Mexican instead. He was single and childless but wanted children. She already had 3 children and had her tubes tied. She said she would have them untied after they got married. After they got married she decided she didn't want to get her tubes untied so he will never have any children unless he steps outside of his marriage. On top of that, her children who are grown now (one married) always keep ending up back living in the house. Also her family (which is huge) is always over their home. He literally hides in this garage to get away from them. His life sucks. He always says he should have married a black girl. He says is ALL the time.

Lot of dudes runnin around crying about baby mama drama too. Or just a main chick givin em the run around in general. High key I would argue most dudes either don't know how to or are too scared to choose. So they go w/whoever shows interest and shyt goes all downhill from there.

I have a millon stories of how man settle but very few on how women settle. It's probably b/c when looking for a life long partner women's main interest isn't usually looks or sex.

U see it on here all the time. "Post a pic of ur ideal wife". "Im gettin killed by child support brehs " Dudes here talk about men being rational and emotionless but then seem to make terrible, impulsive, irrational decision after decision with women

I think men settle more than women, but not by some landslide.

If a guy settles, it's usually because he never realized his true potential. I knew plenty of decent dudes with mad shyt going for them, but they were mentally insecure and didn't grasp their true worth. They could have easily pulled well rounded chicks that were in the 8-10 range with looks, but instead settled for the first average looking broad that gave them some puss. It's weird cuz some will actually date fine chicks, but for the most part they wife up/impregnate average ass females that ain't bout shyt.

When I see chicks settle, it's usually because they finally realized their desired expectations were unrealistic to begin with so they just snatch up a herb ass nikka with some steady income. Now the finer ones might be able to settle with dudes that are in the higher earnings bracket, but they usually end up bytching about that nikka not having any personality, swag, etc....

Most dudes are in it for some ass. It's a lot easier to settle when the main thing you want from a person is puss on demand. If shorty can cook, smart, athletic, etc...thats a bonus.

Most chicks are in it for someone to be able to provide a certain lifestyle for them. Sex, looks, personality, etc... usually comes after that.

Your guess is as good as mine. IMO dude was going after a certain look/hair texture but he is ultra conservative. I wouldn't even casually date more than one woman at a time.
I remember when they were dating he had reservations about the kids and my mom told him to not let her get away if she was a good one. I have her the . Mom had to have been trolling dude or so far out the game at that point (10-15 years) she didn't know any better. Some of the worse advice I've ever heard given.

So, men don't do any of these things? Especially if he has "something going for himself" Ive had dudes that have a college degree, job, own place, car, no kids and you would think that we're Prince Akim. I'm like, I have all these things going for me too but I don't walk around like i deserve anything.This is what i'm supposed to be doing. And as far as the approaching thing, dudes can't decide if they want you to approach or not.

yasss, I'm 28. I'm looking for stability. It gets to the point where you gotta put all your "dreams" about a mate on the back burner. I'm dating a guy now that's family oriented, works a good job, no kids, etc. He may not be what I "usually" go for, but he treats me well and I can see myself going the distance with him. Sometimes we as women have to stop thinking about what we want and go for whats attainable.

Women settle more but they do a good job of keeping that fact under wraps. They are more likely to settle just based on the fact that most women are not proactive and only pick from what comes to them. So if only scrub dudes approach a girl for a full year, odds are that she'll probably cave in to one of them.

Meanwhile dudes are always trying to punch above their weight class, even when unrealistic. It's just the way the game is.

I thought this was obvious, but a few folks here think otherwise.
