you do realize that you can record yourself without being in some huge mega studio right? a lot of these artists record on tour and they arent spending money for studio time.
you could record in your bathroom or in the corner of your living room as long as you have the acoustics set up right.

Yes, most artists have a home studio. Some might not be as high tec as a REAL studio (sound proof glass, mixing boards, etc) but usually there is something there.
It's how they're able to create ideas then just transfer shyt to their regular studio via laptop, email, or something

He might not but I'm sure his main producer (or producers) do.
And I honestly think dude has more than one house. You don't make that much money and just have one crib in one location

Big Sean has a nice lil studio setup at his crib. Zaytoven has one in his basement as well.
a lot of artists/producers have booths n protools n shyt to get the basic recordings done and whatnot but when you get your shyt professionally mixed & mastered, its on boards that cost like $50K+ and require crazy expensive stereo monitors and other equipment you're not really gonna find at someones house. Most people just make that basic studio setup so they can record & create then send it off to bigger studios to fine tune the sound.
