Yup. It’s because cac hypebeasts who can’t dress are deciding what’s hot nowadays. That and the fact that social media has created a world where no one wants to be average anymore, so the bar of what is considered excellence has been lowered considerably. Everybody wanna be rich and draped in “designer”. As a result, most of the stuff at Neimans is Jersey Shore boardwalk quality screenprinted garbage like $1000 screen print hoodies and tees or sweatshop quality garbage bag bubble coats sold at 500% markup.

In the mid to late 90’s, NY had everyone wanting to dress like this. Unfukkwittable style.

Today suburban cac hypebeast have everybody dressing like the picture below because cac mainstream culture is the most dominant. Cacs have watered down “urban” style, but now even black people are following this formula
