I have a 32gb zune hd and I also recently fixed my zune 120gb by replacing the battery and putting a 128gb SSD in it. Folks are doing interesting things out there with iPods like modding them to run compact flash cards and also putting 1tb hard drives in them. The smartphones are out for me due to the crappy battery life when listening to music.

Streaming is just the "cool" new thing to do. I'd rather just download. Streaming is overrated. I really wasn't fukking with Spotify when I figured out they're not giving the artist anything but it still counts on album sales

when i Googled for a solution everything said there is no option. you have to do it track by track.

Your issue doesn't theoretically make sense to me. If you are uploading leaks what music is Google matching it to since it wouldn't exist on the server?

And if you are subscribed there is no real reason to upload your personal library since all the music is already available to you, just download the explicit versions, and if the album isn't available then you can just add it from your personal stash and google wouldn't have anything to match it against.

I own over 1TB of music and have 5 full ipods that I rotate (each one has a purpose, one for parties, one for podcasts and audio books, one with complete albums, etc.). There isn't a phone that has the battery life and storage capacity of an ipod that I know of and I'm not trying to organize 1TB of music again.

If anyone knows a way for me to keep my formatted music and playlists from my ipods and transfer them to google play or a more updated option, please let me know. I'd be willing to pay for that.

You couldn't find a more recent article than one from 3 years ago breh? I doubt its much of an issue at this point, and I pretty much stated how theoretically if you are a subscriber it wouldn't be an issue.
what does the date matter if I'm having the same issues? and I'm not a surveyor so that's irrelevant.

I still got my ipod classic. don't use it as much but I love having most my music with me. I've been meaning to look into streaming on my phone more, but I'm weary of the data usage plus battery life.
