Do niccas still use iPods?

I've never had an ipod i've never had an i anything, because "i"m not hip or cool and idgaf, everybody use wtf you want, but idk what ya'll kids do this days, I stream personally, but since i got schooled a couple days ago about cds are the most popular shyt, I've given up on thinking I know anything about how people listen to music.

I still gotta 160 GB one I had 6 years ago which I filled up up until 3 years ago. I just updated and added new shyt to the i-phone but I carry the other on some archive shyt

I don't know how much I spent on the iPod photo but that shyt was too much whatever it was. I never bought one from that time period on. I would just burn mad cds with whatever songs I wanted to hear @ the time. I use my smartphone now because spotify is the shyt even the free shuffle version on phones is enough for me. My playlists are set up with nothing but songs I like so the fact that I can't skip a bunch of songs doesn't matter to me. If I have some insane amount of money to burn maybe one day I'll get another dedicated mp3 player but them shyts is useless @ this point imo.

I have nearly 2TB

my ipod is 160GB and even then it can only fit on my playlists. I mostly use my ipod in the car or when im traveling. which a phone just isn't suitable for.

No, I have 1 Sim card that I pay a monthly bill on.

I don't have to pay monthly for my iPod #justsayin

What's with the iPod hate? Is that the "cool" thing to do these days? I still have and use my 120gb plenty. I could never use my phone as a dedicated music player. Hell, other than talking (rare) and texting (often), the only thing I use my phone for these days is as a hotspot for my iPad.

Ok? Is there some super awesome new format out there that *ONLY* phones are capable of playing? No? Hmmm. So maybe phones have superior storage space to iPods? No? Welllllll, perhaps these super advanced phones have super advanced battery life, and can play music on and on and on as compared to iPods? What's that you say? Phone battery life sucks? Well, then I don't know...

Fact of the matter is, I can carry more music on my iPod, the battery lasts much longer, and I don't have to worry about any network drops fukking up my vibe (for you streamers out there). But that's just me. You keep doing you, and I'll keep doing me.

that streaming shyt overrated. in cool on paying for something that i could find for free in 2 mins. nikkas was hyping that Google play shyt so i tried it out. some of my shyt was blocked because it was bought from a different Google account, a lot of the other shyt was replaced with censored versions. plus sprint made me change my unlimited plan, they said it don't exist anymore. i have a hard enough time staying under already. i originlly bought it for my car before all this straming shyt was around but i see ni reason to change, ipod classic til i die.

yeah well the thing is...

unlike you I actually travel the world, my phone network doesn't allow me to use unlimited data in every country I go to.

not every song I listen to is available on streaming sites

a lot of planes don't have wifi, how do I listen to my music on a 14hour plane ride using streaming?

I like good quality music, streaming is basura. having speakers worth thousands then playing streamed music on them is backwards.
