Superstar
No. Not at all. Most overrated group ever
nikkas will say anything to line their pockets. All this Fraudye and Koondrick hype that got Coli weirdos crying when I mention it... acting like we haven't seen this bullshyt in hip hop several times in the last decade. Hyperbole and garbage music given the "he finna be legendary" rating.
'I'd hope not. The only one that might have a lasting impact is Frank Ocean and that's only because he's gay.
I don't know about change the culture but they were a really dope/talented collective.
I think Tyler is a genius in some ways.
Earl is one of the greatest spitters of this era.
Frank is dope.
Syd has done some great stuff with the Internet.
Even the lesser acts were solid. I just think the culture and music in general is made/moves too fast for you to gauge that unless what they brought to the table becomes trendy and you can see an immediate effect. It might be a case where somebody like Tyler is influential later on down the line.
When I think about albums like Electric Circus and The new danger I see connections that people who are fans of Kayne don't see or attribute it to someone else..but who knows.
I wouldn't say OF alone, but that 2010-11 weirdo rap movement with Lil B, OF, ASAP, etc. set the blueprint for what's going on today.
Never heard anyone say that, they were a thing for a few years and pretty much disappeared orher than tyler and earl.
Who put more people on than Tyler in the last 10 years![]()
