It kills me how so many people treat Donald Sterling like some kind of surprise racist.

He's one of the biggest scumbags in America and (unless something new has come up) he's still fighting the biggest housing discrimination suit in US history. This has been going on for decades. The NBA CAN'T get rid of him because he's a sole owner of a franchise. They can't fire someone from something that they completely own. They have been wanting to get rid of him for a while though so now its down to playing all their cards right in order to steal the team from him without opening up a massive barrel of worms.

This should've been apparent to any NBA fan after the Elgin Baylor debacle and the FBI stuff. If you haven't been following, then take one on the chin and admit "Dang, I should probably peep game so I don't keep wandering through life without knowing how the biggest racists in America are :lupe:". 'Boycotting' one game doesn't mean shyt. Also, taking such a blunt and messy action, even if it were effective, towards a massive job provider such as Sterling would have almost NO effect on him while having a bigger effect on the people that depend on the commerce he provides and the local markets.

Long story short - Yeah, he's a dikk. He's been a dikk. But this isn't a time of sit-ins and boycotts.Show up and protest in the stands. Mail a congressman right before election season. Contribute to a petition. Anything is better than a boycott in 2014. It doesn't sound like much but its a hell of a lot better than changing the channel and saying you did something meaningful on Facebook today.

This right here, Sterling is a know D-bag racist. My pops told me years ago that he was a racist piece of shyt. This leak has done nothing to change his image. Doc signed there knowing who he was, CP3 okayed a trade knowing who he was, most of those players signed there willingly. Only their draft picks didn't go there wilingly, so why wouldn't they keep cashing their checks and keep playing.

yall are ridiculous.... what is not watching the game going to accomplish ? you're not hurting sterlings pockets

and why the hell are you hating on the clipper players, and saying dumb shyt like they shouldnt even play ? for what ? they have worked all year (and all their lives) to get into this position, so now they just quit because of some leaked audio of the owner ? that doesnt even make sense. his thoughts are his own and have nothing to do with those players. and yall want to call them c00ns for trying to achieve their goals ? man this place is a joke sometimes

i think the clippers should play the rest of their playoffs games on the road.
So sterling loses hundreds of thousands of dollars over the next few days.

Clipper players can still play and try to win. they get full pay checks
but no ticket sales or arena revenue for sterling.

Didn't watch.

They might have a TV contract, so it's not like it hurt the Clippers directly.

However, if enough people don't watch, and the NBA takes a hit, the networks who do give the NBA their money also take a hit. Meaning when it's time work out a contract, the NBA and their owners get offered less. If all the other owners' money is affected, they might just "do what's best." Remember, this isn't a short term fight, I highly doubt anything happens the next few months. Once they see their revenue being affected (from the networks), then the league probably starts pushing and no more "due process" talks.

Just like how any TV show gets cancelled.
