Gap branded jeans all day. They got perfectly over your kicks for $69 but there's always a 40% off sale going on. Other than a pair of Levi's 510 slims I hadn't purchased any other brand jeans in years

I just do old navy and sometimes Jimmy Jazz or other sneaker stores for more fashionable pants. $50 is my limit. Old Navy is a steal because it's good quality (like $25) and they fit well.

Those last longer and fit better than Gap and Banana republic though. Gap is a scam.

Didn't know True Religion was still in, I'm out of loop. Would never pay more than 80 for one article of clothing (even sneakers).

I only spent 200+ once on jeans....a pair of Evisus in 03. These days I'm wearing APC, rag & bone, and naked and famous. Only get em on sale though.

I been trying to stay out of these threads cuz they irritate the shyt outta me...but anyway, serious question; Do you own a house? Do you own any land? Do you have a business? Do your kids have a college fund? Is your car paid off? Do you invest in anything to stretch your money?

I only be asking shyt like this because anybody I know personally that be rockin these expensive for no reason brands never have anything that matters. Not trying to talk down, but seriously, answer the questions...

It has to be fly shyt to be worth that. Like I was on denim kick after college, I'm taking ringspun cotton, selvege, ostrich and python patches, and dyed with certain indigos lol.
And it was all raw.
Brands like SugarCane, Dry Bones etc.

That shyt wears wonderfully and looks great as you wear out the raw and the denim takes a life of its own. Sick honeycombs, stacking and whiskering. It's dope. It's becomes like a piece of art and a project.

But in the end they rip like all other denim. They'll last longer tho. Even the reg price jeans do to tho; just don't wash them all the time. So it's not really worth it if you're not going for the look. If you're just paying because of what logo is sewn on the pockets than boooooo

SugarCane with the python patches is piff... The detailing on their denim is beautiful. I really really want a pair.
