I typically spend $180-$300 on raw denim. But I'm really into raw selvage denim.
Raw Selvage denim typically is made in Japan and ages and fades naturally over time with lots of wear.
You typically wear selvage jeans for 6+ months w/ out washing (you put them in the freezer to eliminate bacteria).

These are before and after pics of how selvage jeans fade naturally with age.
I usually only buy 1 pair of jeans a year if that.

Point me to some sites. Im convinced. :ehh:

I haven't done it myself but i cant say i dont understand the hierarchy of quality

Lil simple shyt like cutlery and crystal (drinking glasses) vary greatly in cost and quality....once u go up its hard to go down..from the standpoint of the shyt i put in my home i understand completely
