do people still actually use CD's in the car to listen to music?

Well depends on the setup, Mines sounds pretty good, My receiver has pretty good burr brown DACS I dont if that helps plus the htc with beats audio sounds better over blutooth then my Nexus 4 did. Plus I have all my music plus my Google plus subscription at my disposal. Its just too easy not to use.

I have a big CD collection and that's really the only place that I use them.

I prefer the uncompressed sound. Have an aux port and ipod (old adapter anyway) in my truck but it came with a 6 disc changer. Rockford Fosgate audio system.

I still use that fake cassette that you plug in your mp3/cd player headphone plug, and play my music that way...

I wont buy a car that does not have a functioning cassette deck...

I use CD's cuz they sound better,use my Bluetooth for my mixtapes I have on my HTC one with beat audio,and use iPod usb with my itouch

a wav file is whats used when a studio finshes mixing down the record, which is then pressed to a cd.

So if you are using an original wav or flac file then u have the highest quality

The quality of a cd is way better than a mp3 file. Especially if you have a system. I use them still
