Has nothing to do with being a player since divorce is a thing and everything to do with not forming some kind of connection with someone later in life. In any case, I've never been a fan of this way of thinking be it man or woman if only because you're basically saying that a man especially should get married, have kids, and put up with possible nonsense and avoid divorce somehow for a selfish reason based in fear. That's weird. You should want a man to be married and all that because he wants to. In any case, any single man concerned by this should just become a mentor for someone or form relations with friends and get their financial affairs in order/get a will and have a plan for a funeral and for someone mange all of that after death. That is a far less troublesome plan if you are not willing to have kids and all that.
