Xbox started the gen on some nut shyt with a always online console, Kinect camera in ever box and was 100 more than ps4 and was less powerful and was to focused on media like movie and tv


They pretty much have reverse everything since then

Not always online
No Kinect in box(probably discontinued)
Cheaper
And released xb1 x which is more powerfully
Dropped the focus on tv
And fired the head guy of the Xbox division and replaced him with a more gamer friendly person

But the ps4 has sold like 50 million more consoles at this point then the xb1

And probably has more exclusives games also.

But the Xbox has a lot better features at this point

I have both but I play mainly multi plat games so I don’t care bout exclusivity or even single player games tbh and the psn crowd is much bigger on the Coli so I play most ps games

Both systems are always online, this was also true last gen. Unless you don't update your games or play online? When you turn your system off is it not still connected to the internet? So you disconnect it and reconnect it every time you use it? And if that's a concern do you put your cellphone on airplane mode when not in use?
