Bruno brought people out in droves for to see him perform in 2017. 2nd highest grossing act of the year which was due to that album.


He won because he was suppose to win in that broad of a spectrum, which is album of the year.

Okay. Why wouldn’t they use this same logic to vote for Bey, whose self titled was not only the most recognizable BUT it had the most critical acclaim?

I never said I wanted Bruno to win. NEVER. I didnt buy or support nobody nominated, but it doesnt take rocket science to see who really put a lot of work in and it paid off THEIR way.

If Kendrick would have won, I wouldnt have cared. Same for Lorde or Jay Z.

Out of those I named, Bruno got the most out of his work

24k magic was vintage r&b & Bruno been killing everything over the past year or so.

Damn was cool, but the replay value isn't really there.

Trying to tell heads man, but folks can't get passed the corny stigma of Bruno. 24K Magic felt like more of a experience through R and B from the party tracks to the more sadder ones. Sure it seems like he's riding the coattails of past sounds of r and b but I would rather hear those fusions of sounds, vs some heavy dead weight sounding trap shyt that most artists are embracing

DAMN was good, but outside of songs like DNA, ELEMENT, LOVE, LOYALTY, & HUMBLE...the album is very slow and even though I like YAH, LUST, & FEEL they are just ok at best. Then the fact songs like XXX & PRIDE exist on the project...songs that are some of the worst Kendrick tracks i ever heard, i just cant put it over 24K Magic.

Every song on 24K Magic was great, except for Perm but it is still a good track also, and was a classic R & B project of this era. There isn't a song on 24K Magic that doesn't go, except the named above...and that depends on where you are. "Perm" live is amazing

yep... and Damn has sold more than Bruno in less time.

Preach! If anything this one of the times they got it, right. He has a top 4 hit of a song that came out over a year ago.
