Do producers ever put other producers on?

Producer DON'T put other producers on...What they do is use a talented new comer for "inspiration"...If the new comer is talented enough, he breaks away and finds his own rapper/s and becomes successful, if he is not that talented, he fails and goes to social media and complains about ghost production credits he was never given...

For me "putting somebody on" means that you introduce that person to the public and say "look here fans, this is the future, this is the dude helping me out with the new bangers"...

I don't think I have ever heard a producer say that...

When you think about it, Rappers are the ones who put producers on...A beat ain't shyt until a rapper makes something popular with it...

sure, Marley Marl helped K-Def and Domingo get in the game

RZA had 4 very good ones, and especially helped True Master. gave him the ASR he used thru-out his career and taught him and Mathematics alot of tricks

RZA got alot of help from a guy named RNS, who did alot of Shyheim's first album. im not sure what happened to him, but he always gave him credit for teaching him

9th Wonder has a label that exposes some of his guys a bit more, and even a veteran in Nottz whose still dope but sound is increasingly less in-demand
