Do random people often ask you for help/directions?

People tend to size you up before decide to ask you for something, especially if you are Black.

Do you look like an open, amicable, safe brother, or mistaken for a sucker (At least from their pov)? Or do you have the look/presence of a Kendrick Perkins or "Angry Man" from Martin, whereas people may be reluctant to approach?

I get encountered all the time, especially directions from cacs. However, when I turn them down for help (car trouble, money, etc), I get the

I wish I didn't look so friendly. Anytime I'm out with a group of friends I am the one who gets approached by random people to ask stuff, or bums wanting money. I guess they all give good 'mean girl' faces and I just don't.

Fairly often. If you present yourself well enough and look relaxed, folks will often just start convos with you out of the blue.

Happens pretty often. I'd say I'm "safe" by white people standards.

People always ask me about stuff at stores. And a lot of old women ask me to get stuff off high shelves at the grocery store.

Some old white man asked me if the Scotts wipes were flushable and if I liked them while I was putting toilet paper in my cart.
