I had a friend in high school who was generally above average in intelligence, but who would have near-panic attacks on tests, especially timed tests. It's like his brain would completely shut down. He was fine in everyday situations, with the same kind of tasks to do.

I think it's very over-rated too.

I still think that many players are beyond stupid though, even though they may not need that for the field, it sure would help them off the field if they weren't so dumb.

But the sports system in schools foster this shyt anyway

The wonderlic test has NO statistically significant correlation with how good a player will be. My statistics professor did a huge study on it.

Isn't that because they never learned the playbooks? Intelligence is generally accepted as the ability to learn things quickly. This was not a good comparison.
