The complexion for better protection. Foles has been getting that Brady protection for that past 3 or 4 games.
foles is playing well but chips offense helps alot too. you just have to be able to execute and be smart with the ball and you can run this offense. foles is smart and this is good for him to get this playing time so we can see if he worth building around. obviously im hoping he is so it is one less thing to go after in the offseason (plus he will already have experience in the offense and connection with the players)
he made some more nice throws today, a nice throw over the top of the linebacker to hit shady in stride stands out. he stepped up in the pocket and had some nice throws. and then he also took what the defense gave him a few times and ran for some change on some plays (he needs to learn how to slide better though). overall like i keep saying every week, he is playing well, he isnt kolb, cassell, flynn or some other bum that dumb coli nikkas keep comparing him too

its a different protection, vick is left handed so his blindside is different. plus foles is smarter with the ball, steps up in the pocket, throws it away when there isnt a play there and isnt running around everywhere. its a combination of things, including they are playing better now but its not like they just decided to play better now that foles is there
Foles has been playing great no question....I was anti-Foles but as long as he's playing this good whats there to hate on? That's how u turn haters into believers and he's doing it for me

and not even that, there have been plays he has held onto the ball but like other slow, unathletic qbs that are smart, they step up into the pocket to buy more time and evaluate the field. there was a good shot of him actually scanning the field with his eyes as he stepped up into the pocket and hit ertz who was like his third or fourth read. thats what you want to see from a young QB. vick would just be stuck in 2004 and dip to the outside after 2 seconds, leading to the oline breaking down and everything going to shyt.Foles has been playing great no question....I was anti-Foles but as long as he's playing this good whats there to hate on? foles still has a lot he can improve but looking at his total body of work from his starts this year and last year, he is looking he could develop into a solid qb
Actually, Manning has been getting hit a lot. Brady has excellent protection. The Eagles protection has improved vastly because when Foles first came in for Vick, he was knocked out of the game as well. I tend to agree with the above poster who stated it could be the fact that Vick is left handed and the blind side protection scheme was different.
