The Lox got real street cred. 50 said that "the only other hard n!ggas, come from Yonkers" line because he knows. There's a lot of studio gangstas in hip hop, The Lox ain't some of them.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
what's funny is most people always think jada and styles are the tightest

but it was styles and sheek who knew each other first and was hustling together.. then jada came around and they are started rolling together and making music

so like most rappers... did they sell a little coke on the block... yea... did they need the scales that they use to weigh the whales with... fukk no

They did at one point.

I remember when they were rollin' with Vacant Lot and Dame Grease and his crew back in the late 90's. They'd always be up around 129th and Lenox. That block used to have this fish and chips spot where a lot of Harlem's hardest crews would roll through. LOX would be up there all the time, no security, just coolin'. Styles was always up there!! The streets loved these dudes at one point. They're older now, so I don't know if they're still runnin' around like they used to, but they definitely had street creed while they were more visible with the music.

kiss be everywhere, seen him in a pizza shop in riverdale and then like 3 days later seen him at a sneaker spot on 145. kiss really be out there
