Yes. When controlled for socioeconomic standards, black students still score less than their white counterparts. Rich black kids with educated parents in fact score lower than poorer white kids with less educated parents.

Now I don't believe in genetic superiority or inferiority in ANY field. Whether its athletics or in education. I DON'T DENY THAT THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE GENETICALLY MORE GIFTED THAN OTHERS. I just don't believe these genetic gifts are associated strongly with "race." If they were, then 2.75 million black folks in Jamaica wouldn't be running after than 166 million black folks in Nigeria.

Environment, work ethic, and opportunity are greater factors to success than just having black skin. The fact you ignorant nikkas want to reduce our greatness in sports to just luck baffles my mind. I'm becoming more and more convinced this site must be filled with crakkkas pretending to be black.

Im not saying race is the only factor, you still need proper training and hard work to excel. As small as Jamaica is we know they have are damn near equal to the US when it comes to track and field training and in fact many actually go to college and train in the US right beside our own athletes. If Nigeria isnt putting the money behind their track and field program that Jamaica and the US is then its going to be harder for them to compete.

Im not saying race is the only factor, im saying it helps.

Track isn't the #1 sport or even close to it in Nigeria. In Nigeria, soccer is the #1 sport but most of the time academics and social status is more important than sports.

Best believe if track was the #1 sport in America, we would have someone who can beat Bolt.
