Maybe brees can turn him back into a wr2.
Dez never really fell off. He had one bad year with the drops other than that his production only declined because of Dak's noodle arm. Why hasnt anybody else produced in that offense? Cats really let shannon sharpe's old hating ass convince them that Dez was a scrub.

He never said Dez was a scrub. He said Dez needs to perfect his craft. Right after that Dez got a route guru. Let’s chill disrespecting hall of fame players analysis breh. He put extra sauce on it for entertainment but I don’t think he was that off base. The GOAT TO came on and kind of agreed but he just added that Garrett fakkit ass doesn’t call different routes for Dez.

I think yall don't pay enough attention to us, even though we're freaking 7-1 and arguably the best team in the league.

Our offense is heavily dependent on three people: Kamara, Thomas, and Ingram.

Kamara and Thomas are so elite that our lack of top notch depth else where isn't a problem. When you have a top 3 QB (arguably the best currently), a top 5 WR (can argue he's top 3 currently), and a top 3 RB (can argue he's #2 behind Gurley), you can get by without rockstars at the rest of the skill positions. Oh and definitely the best O-Line in the NFL, no debate about that.

But we have quality role players in Taysom Hill, Ben Watson, Josh Hill, and the rookie Tre'Quan Smith to round up the offense. However, we are certainly not stacked at WR. Not at all.

Our #3 and #4 receivers are Cameron Meredith and Austin Carr, nice guys, but damn near non-existent. So my guess is either Sean is thinking he can get whatever Dez has left in the tank out with Brees throwing him the ball and give us a much better option at WR instead of Meredith and Carr, or Ginn knee isn't healing up as they hoped so we need to add a receiver anyway.

Idk. I don't think signing Dez will push us away from the NFC contenders or anything, but it can be a nice move to give our offense some better depth. I'll be cool with signing him, and I'll be cool if we don't.
Yeah Brees, Ingram, Thomas, Watson, Tre Smith and Kamara and that O Line ain't enough on offense :pacspit:

LOL. I never said it wasn't enough. I felt we were a Super Bowl winning team before Dez.

I was just arguing that we were not stacked at WR. Dez is just a luxury move we can afford to take. A high reward low risk move that gives us, what should be, much better depth at the WR position now.

It was more than just Shannon. Mike Lombardi bed talking shyt on Dez every podcast he pops up on. We're just a few weeks away from all of them pretending like Payton and Brees "revitalized" him instead of Dez just being a ridiculous WR talent.

Dez Bryant in the Saints system would be legit. Brees is an elite QB and he takes some of the heat of Michael Thomas and some of usage away from Kamara. Smart move.

1 year deal after he turned down more lucrative deals when he was feeling himself.

nikkas need to stop the Shannon sharpe hate. Listen to Jane Slater and tell me it doesn’t validate what Shannon said. You can agree with Shannon and still root for Dez :yeshrug:
