i was about to say, they do run tests when ur pregnant and its usually bloodwork , they gotta make sure u dont have herpes , if u do u gotta have a csection so u dont spread the disease to the baby, and drops for the babys eyes right after birth just in case u had gonnorhea, and they dont ask for permission either they do that right off the top.

If a chic is burning the baby cant come thru the birth canal or else the kid will be infected. If a the mother opts for a c section then chances are they didnt test for stds like the clap etc. I think in part thats why newborns are given those drops in the eyes
